North Central College is a private, 4-year comprehensive liberal arts college located in Naperville, which is a city in the US state of Illinois, located in DuPage and Will counties, with a population of more than 145 000 inhabitants, as estimated during the 2008 census.
North Central College was established in 1861 and it is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It offers its students a total of 58 undergraduate majors leading to a bachelor's degree, as well as master's degrees in business administration, computer science, education, and several other study areas.
North Central's athletic teams are known as the Cardinals and they compete in 22 men's and women's sports, in NCAA Division III and the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). They won 25 national championships (21 NCAA and 4 NAIA), fact which places North Central on the eighth place, on the all time list for most national championships, the college's athletes also winning 106 individual national championships.
